I did my best to "emulate" with a great deal of admiration the look of the swirl for PINGUY OS but this is soo cool.
Dont want to steal the idea but would love to know the technique used, if you care to share!
I used Chaoscope to render the swirl. The rest is done in Gimp.
I tried producing the same effect in Inkscape with this result
